Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency when they process the transaction.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Details sent over the Internet are fully encrypted using 128bit encryption keys and are not decrypted until they have reached our computer. At no time are your credit card details held or transmitted in clear text form.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And HandlingOrders being shipped to the UK are normally shipped using the Royal Mail First Class Recorded Signed-for service unless you specify the Special Delivery Next Day service on your order. Please note this service is not available for deliveries on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday. Overseas orders are all shipped using the Royal Mail International Signed-for service. Delivery Schedule We process orders every day and if we receive your order by 12 noon (Monday to Friday) we will usually ship it the same day by the Royal Mail First Class Recorded Signed-for service. If we receive your order after midday it will be shipped the next working day.
Back Orders Our Yellow Dog Glass products except accessories are all individual and unique pieces and we do not have stock of another one. In the unlikely event that the item has been sold to someone else we will always contact you to discuss how we may best satisfy your needs.
Purple Puppy items are normally held in stock but should we be temporarily out of stock you will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order or wait until our new stock arrives.
Tax Charges We are not registered for VAT so VAT is not charged. The prices you see against each product are the prices you will pay. Remember, if you spend more than £35 on a UK order, shipping is free too.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, the details (including your credit card number) you enter into the checkout pages are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date) is used only to charge the customer for the products they are purchasing. This will never be given to any third party (other than the credit card authorization processor) and is immediately deleted from our system once the order has been processed.
